The first thing to do before shooting a video is drawing out each shot envisioned in the video. This makes shooting tons more efficient, and makes the editing process way more simple and mechanical. Do not, I repeat DO NOT make the mistake of not having a storyboard and think it’ll all come together during editing. Not only will you have infinitely less control over the end result, this approach is likely to turn the editing process into an expensive process.
